Black Bits In Urine My Dog Has Blood In His Urine?

My dog has blood in his urine? - black bits in urine

A few weeks ago, she found blood in the urine of our dogs, there was much blood. We took him to the vet, was placed on antibiotics, blood and urine were performed. The results came back and the vet told us he had STREP canine. Antibiotics seem to work, work until 9 days previously stopped. We took him in and became a stronger drug that worked for 7 days. There was absolutely no blood in the urine. Red came today, and there are plenty of young, first time, it was almost black, was the second time it was dark red and the third a little easier. We called the vet and can not put up on Monday morning. If there is a tumor that antibiotics do not think that I have been working for some time. Your comments are welcome are animal loversand wants to help. Please help ... Thank you!

  1. You can always to a veterinary emergency. Looks like you need to get a second opinion anyway.

  2. Your dog is intact (not neutered), he is a good chance that the infection of the prostate, which is more difficult for antibiotics to work. It is also possible that a strain of resistant bacteria. Ask your veterinarian for a urine culture and sensitivity tests. Anyone who tells you what type of bacteria treated with antibiotics and was working within him.

  3. Overall, there is more blood in the urine of kidney failure, and antibiotics were not really capable of much, if not to help the kidneys by a bacterial infection. I'm not sure that a vet should do about it, but you would think that maybe for him.

  4. Some urinary tract infections are very difficult to disentangle. I had tried a dog with antibiotics for 3 months to clean up. Concern for Monday is expected that infections are very painful and do not want the infection further. The infection can cause the trip from the bladder into the kidneys and kidney damage. The vet, you can make a clean catch urine (catheter or needle inserted directly into the bladder to a sterile, preserved culture) to. The culture determines the type of bacteria to antibiotics and clean better. A tumor of the bladder often transitional cell carcinoma. PTC is a relatively rare cancer, but is more frequently seen in Scotties. An ultrasound examination can be detected by an abnormal growth of the bubble.

If your dog is notcastrated, may have prostate problems, I have never used this so I can not comment on deals. My dog with recurrent urinary tract infections had a precancerous polyps in the bladder. It was a rare case and there is no visible blood in the urine. She also had kidney failure - again, without blood in the urine. I know that can cause tumors of the bladder blood in the urine, but please do not go bad. Your dog has already demonstrated that bacteria in the urine. Until I get him to the vet, make sure you also drink - which helps remove bacteria from your system. And if you still continue taking the antibiotics until you speak with your veterinarian. Your dog probably feels very badly right now. Good luck.
