Mississippi River Boatboat Plans What Kind Of Businesses Use The Mississippi River?

What kind of businesses use the Mississippi River? - mississippi river boatboat plans

I'm doing a project on the Mississippi River. I have several companies that would use them, and what happens when they could use to find more. (In other words, how would it affect them and us.)

A large part of the burden of water in the river for agricultural products. Corn, soybeans, and similar things, which are periodically sent by the River. Including wood chips, and sometimes the trees for the production of pulp paper on which they are delivered. Gravel and other materials are sometimes shipped by barge and, but I'm not sure how much more specifically on the Mississippi River. There are companies, oil and fuel oil by barge and rely heavily on the MS River.

I think that is the main reason for the use of cargo ships that many materials can be sent simultaneously. A load of maize houseboat An elevator can contain hundreds of truckloads of corn, the other much more expensive to truck cargo ship.

When is water transportation is not an option, leading to increased prices for some products that we use every day.
